Legal Framework
GAAB is organised as a non-profit association under Articles 60 to 79 of the Swiss Civil Code. The registered office is located in Baden, Switzerland.
Governing Bodies
The association consists of the General Assembly, the Management Board, the Auditors and the General Secretariat.
General Assembly
The General Assembly is the highest authority. It approves the statutes, elects the Management Board and the Auditors, reviews the annual reports, adopts the financial statements and sets membership fees. It meets at least once each year.
Management Board
The Management Board implements the decisions of the General Assembly and directs the strategic activities of the association. The Board consists of the President, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Assessor.
General Secretariat
The General Secretariat is responsible for operational management, administration, communication and coordination of association activities. The Secretary General is appointed by the Management Board.
Auditors
The Auditors review the association’s accounts and submit their report to the General Assembly.
